Is it off limits to talk about? I know the moderator works there but without bashing can't we talk about what we know? Just a reminder watch what you say at work.

I am simply reminded of an old Tommy James and the Shondells tune:
My Baby does the .....etc.

Actually, I'm reminded of a certain Adam Sandler/Jack Nicholson film from a couple years ago. Other than that, I'm really not sure what exactly is going on, but the company line seems to be that he's "taking some personal time", and will be back on the 25th. That's all I know, and I expect to see him back in the office then. He's still really well liked there, and I hear that TW really went to bat for him.

Hey...how about...it does not make one more dollar for the company whether he is there or not. The sales team can live on heritage for only so long.

Okay, let me set the rules on this. Regardless the fact that I work there, I wouldn't allow the dirty laundry of anyone, no matter what station they work for, to be aired here. Sure, you guys can talk about the impact or lack of of a PD being in the building, you can talk about what you think about formats... you can even say so and so sucks if you want. But I'm not going to permit anyone to get into the personal aspects of why someone isn't in the building, unless the company releases a statement explaining what happened, or the individual himself wishes to comment.

For the record, I know some of the details but not the whole story, and frankly, I don't want to know.

Yes he is well liked, and if at some point an 'official' line comes out from Infinity, then you guys can comment all you like. Till then... we all get to eat silence.
______________

Experience is a tough teacher; you have to fail the test before you can learn the lesson.

In this world of guerilla journalism, the irnoy abounds.

Having said that, I have no idea what you guys are talking about and I'm OK with that.
