What happened to the Paul Parent Show?

I used to listen to a lawn and garden show on Sundays hosted by Paul Parent. It was on a couple of stations, WCRN and WRKO, I think. It dissappeared a while back. Now the only show like that I can find is called the Garden Guys on 96.9. It's hosted by a man and woman who are trying way too hard to be cute and funny and it simply doesn't work because of a lack of comedic talent. They also have a very annoying tag line which they split,(down to earth, on the air, up to date or something like that) each alternating phrases. They use this every time they go to break. It's really high schoolish and ameteurish.

What happened to Paul Parent?

Agreed, but he does stream from that site, and there are also podcasts. So too bad for radio, but not necessarily for avid listeners.

Or is that aphid listeners?
 
according to the sight there are a few stations in mass wmrc for central ma wxtk for the cape but doesn't say times.
 
He is on now on WXKS 1200Rush Radio who does stream and is also available on Iheart Radio Apps for Iphones, Androids and Blackberrys.
 
Jim, Laynee? Sam, the only one who has any knowledge is Jim - the others are just fluff. Jim used to be on RKO with Moe Lauzier on Sunday mornings and the show was good, no nonsense, just good info. RKO got rid of Moe and then teamed Jim up with these two air heads and the show went instantly down hill, especially when they introduced the sophmoric sing song - down to earth, up to date and on the air or whatever that nonsense rap is and it's repeated regularly in sing song manner. It was a four hour show but only two could be heard on air - if you wanted the other two you had to stream them because RKO wanted to broadcast two hours of boring finance shows instead. When Jim and crew went to TKK RKO replaced them with Paul Parent briefly - then replaced him with two guys - one who barely speaks english, Jaz something or other and Rick something, Jaz is the one with the knowledge, Rick is the interpreter and buffer as Jaz has no people skills.

OT - what happened to Avi on Sat afternoons? He used to do 2-4 - two weeks ago he was off because he had filled in for Howie when Howie was on vaca, this Sat he was missing again....didn't listen to what's her name? Jennifer something so I don't know if she stated where Avi was on Sat - anyone know?
 
For awhile they had J. Brien on followed by Avi but I do note that acc to the WRKO sched page on their site, they had Bill Kelley's Financial 9-noon (bought time?), Brien 12-3,
then a best of Tom and Todd 3-4 followed by The Mortgage Radio show, on last Sat 7/31.
Maybe they temp. took Avi off the Sat. beat but he is, with Col. Hunt, one of Howie's regular fill in hosts.
