What happened to WBT Traffic Guy Chuck Roads?

Perhaps a salary issue? I thought he did a good job, and they would be smart to put him back on WBTV as well. Because that Sammy Jo girl does a better job giving out Bojangle's biscuits than she does reporting traffic.
