What happened to WRMF????

They went from one of their lowest numbers yet to a 7 share in the summer book. What happened???? Did they do a lot of TV advertising?
 
They went out with the old and in with the new. Amazing format change in music - HEAVY air play on 90's and today. Their new logo is "979 WRMF plays he best variety of the 80's, 90's and Today" however, they are barely playing any 80's music - very heavy push on 90's alternative. They are playing Stone Temple Pilots, Pearl Jam, Nirvana - they sound A LOT like Sirius 9 The Pulse. They are doing so much better- I really like the format a lot - keeps away from the hip hop and rap that most stations are playing. With Dina formerly from the Coast and Tracey St. George from Atlanta, it's bringing a younger crowd on board fr listening. Keep up the good work WRMF!!!!
 
They certainly needed the boost. With a signal like that, there's no reason for them to be down in the dumps as they were. Good work!
 
Dina from the Coast is a great addition.

Glad to hear WRMF is getting going again. That big stick was one of my favorites to tinker with....
