Does anyone know what happened to Gill who did PM Drive on 102.7 ??? I know he was working with Coastal for a bit and was the MD at DOX before the flip, and hosting mornings in 1490 "The Game" but I haven't heard from him in a bit, whats his deal in the area still or out of the market ?

I am alive and well...haha, thanks for asking. After JSE, I left for personal reasons, but mainly I thought it was just time to move on and do something I wanted to do more. Sports radio is where I wanted to be, never rock radio....So I went to Coastal so I could be involved with doing HS games on radio again, and by chance they bought DOX and I was the MD there but did ALOT more then just MD for that station when it was first bought, it was a ton of work...that looks like it was all for not. Then I had an opportunity to host my own sports-talk show on 1490 "The Game" in morning drive which was always what I wanted to do. However, it just didn't work out, there was no support from mgt. and I saw the writing on the wall that the station was going to flip, so I left. I did some work on TV-40 as the weekend sports anchor while they serched for a new weekened anchor, and now...I am just looking for my next gig...I am still in the market, I am doing a lot of coaching now..I coach like 3 different baseball teams and do some freelance work. Thanks for asking...lol.

I have heard that when Mike Gill isn't coaching baseball, he's helping keep Maynard's open, 2 bucks at a time. LOL, Mike is a good buddy and pure comedy gold filling in for my DJ shifts at Maynards. If there's any justice in the world, he'll get a nice gig somewhere and keep using his DJ status to mack on MANY young ladies.
