what happened with Jason Goff?

i thought he left on his own to do a SiriusXM show, didn't know he was already doing it.

i recently found out that apparently he got fired over some salsa bit where he called the manager of Tin Lizzy's on-air and asked if he could swing by after work and pick up some salsa. The audio is still on the 92.9 website, April 1 hour 4. I listened to it.

was it because he put someone on the air without their permission, some conflict with a sponsor?? I'm pretty sure Rodney Ho wrote a while back that when that show as Mac & Jason, they were getting the best ratings on the station. He was at least entertaining and funny.

thanks

If he put someone on the air without permission from that person, he risked many thousands of dollars in fines. Airing a conversation without asking specifically for permission will get you in trouble with the FCC.

definitely was something related to the restaurant

the new guy tonight was talking about the story of T.J. Yates finding out he got traded to the Falcons while he & his wife were eating at Chipotle. Mark Zinno started the story out by saying, "Now I love Chipotle..." and then the producer interrupted and said something along the lines of "uh oh, this has turned out bad before."
