This morning at 10am, WRHV-88.7 just popped off the air, and remained off all day. At 7pm when shared time/transmitter WFNP-88.7 should have signed on, they were off too. Somewhere around 7:30pm WFNP came back on the air.
Does WMHT have to send an engineer all the way from Albany/Schenectady to the WRHV transmitter? You'd think they have a local Poughkeepsie engineer to call. When WRHV goes off the air, it always seems to be for a long period of time. Two or three years ago they were frequently off the air, sometimes for two full days or more. I wonder if WRHV is simply not a very big priority in the WMHT scheme of things. Anyway I missed their music today.
