What happened

I have been out of town all week, everything was fine with BRU when I left. As I got in range of the station last night odd music was playing. Trying to figure out what was going on led me here. I saw the posts, some said April Fools joke others not sure. I, out of habit, hit the BRU preset in my car this afternoon and heard Lupo's bought it back. Just confused by the whole thing, their site says nothing, thought someone here could tell me.

Thanks

At 5:00 PM yesterday, BRU flipped to a variety hits format (emphasis on variety) as "Buddy FM" for an April Fools stunt. The station used the allusion that they had been acquired, but it was somewhat unclear as to whether it was a real flip as the "sale" had been mentioned on WJAR, the station's website and mySpace accounts, and "Motif Magazine" which seems to somehow be connected to the station.

The stunt only lasted until 12:00 PM today, when the real BRU returned under the guise that Lupo's and other nightclubs acquired the station and donated it back to Brown.
