In reflection over my "contributions" yesterday? I was wrong. Life has been hard lately (wife with cancer stage IV) and I find myself venting by lashing out at unimportant things. But that's no excuse for my being a pompous ass.

I think there is a natural human tendency to become annoyed by all kinds of little things which ordinarily would not concern someone, if that someone had something major weighing on their mind constantly.

Having a partner with cancer is definitely a "something major" and in light of that revelation it is easy to see why you were so negative about the changes here, and it is also easy for us to forgive your doing so under the circumstances. Indeed, venting sometimes relieves the pressure when one is under stress.

Thank you for sharing. It explains your behavior quite well, and you erased any negative feelings I might have formed about you from your earlier posts.

Modern science has progressed, thankfully, to the point where stage IV cancer is not an automatic death sentence. I have read that many, many people survive for several years after treatment, and I hope that your wife will be among those.

Thanks K.M. Yeah. We've found it amazing how they can now study a removed tumor and create a unique to the patient chemo "cocktail" based on their findings. Just a few years ago it was far more hit and miss with a one size fits all treatment.

The Flemings used the boards to build a trade publication and ran the boards as a dictatorship with their "Managing Board Editor" system before selling all the parts of piecemeal.

That was a terrible time. Those goons were bad! They would edit posts arbitrarily. You, KM Richards and (if memory serves me correctly) Sam Buca left these boards. Once Radio-Info was sold the goons were gone.

I was banned for using multiple names. As soon as I was warned I promised not to do it again but somehow months or even years later someone decided it was an offense I should be banned for. I was told to write a snail mail (or maybe an email would have been acceptable) to the owners of the station.
