What Happens with DirecTV and Dish?

Currently I have a Sirius Stiletto and XM with DirecTV. I guess one can say I have some of both worlds. After the merger, I am curious what the choices will be? What will be offered on DirecTV.

Also, when they offer a la carte, will I have more choices with DirecTV than with Sirius.

Sirius will evaluate their programming choices, eliminate some channels, merge others. The al la carte packages will offer choices in programming and cost differences. I for instance hate sports so would welcome not having to pay for it if that is a possibility. As to what they will do, only they know. As for Direct TV and XM, I guess either they will renegotiate a contract or eliminate the association all together. I can't see it being a worthy investment for Sirius. I too have Direct TV and that was my only exposure to XM. Thank God they are going away as I found the channels unlistenable.

That isnt XM's fault IT IS DIRECTV for not processing them correctly!

I dont think they really wanted XM but got stuck with them or something,i dont know.....
