WHAT HIPHOP STATION U LISTEN TO ALL THE TIME ?

This boston station isnt that bad,,,, I was surprised... Really, Pirates tend to do Hip Hop as well as Dance music better than the legal stations...... Put that in your pipe and smoke it.. Jam'n.......hehe

Hot 106 from Providence, RI or Hot 93.7 from Hartford, Connecticut.

Before September of 2008 I would listen to Red Hot 959 of Saco, Maine here in southern maine. They had really good imaging and a big song variety all Hip Hop or R&B and no pop. But last summer I found out that 95.9 WRED would become WPEI a simulcast of WEEI 850 of Boston. Just what southern maine needed another sports station besides 850 WEEI comes in pretty good in Maine on a lot of radios.

WRED was a good station and I was sad to see them go.

However I have to argue that there was definately pop in their playlist. WRED was an Urban-leaning Rhythmic, so there was select pop hits in their playlist, but not many.

I last heard/listened to WRED July 2008 in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire under a pretty strong finge signal (at my sister in laws lakehouse at lake winnipesaukee) and they were playing pop tracks like Jordan Sparks "One Step At A Time" and a remix of "I Kissed a Girl", so in long story short they sprinkled on the pop hits, however the playlist was very Urban-ish.

If they are on 87.7, why not bill themselves as "Hot 87"

umm more people search "Hot 97" on the net then "Hot 87" unintentional hits to your site cant hurt. Making people think you are or affiliated with "THE Hot 97" can't hurt either.
