Here is what I wish for, I wish for Clear Channel to make 98Rock a lot like X107.5 from Las Vegas, NV. That would be awesome! Or, if CC doesnt want to then I hope CBS Radio does it as X107.5 is owned by CBS.

Because basically if I wanted song after song on a shuffle kind of mode i'd throw in a CD or listen to my mp3 player. Im looking for personality in the station.
 
X-Treme 107.5... KXTE used to be a great station. Very edgy and rebelious. Recent re-positioning to distance itself from local competition KOMP 92.3 has ruined it. Besides, it's probably not gonna be around much longer anyway... since it lost Stern and picked up Adam Corolla it's been tanking. FREE-FM is probably on the horizon for Vegas. Anyway, since you brought up comparisons, the station I'd like to see 98Rock or 97-X programmed like is Area 108, KVGS, a true "independent" sounding station with probably some good money demos. But since 97 and 98 are Cox and Clear Channel, that probably isn't gonna happen. Maybe Doubledown will bring some ideas from Atlanta with him.... I've always like 99-X... and The Buzz (his former home) didn't sound to bad either. The rock stations here really need some work.
 
That's true, I didnt get to listen to X107.5 prior to Adam, I live here in Tampa and listen through the internet. Do you have a link for that sattion you mentioned? I'd like to check it out. Another thing your right on is they need work, serious work. They are to plain, I want some personality and like you said that "independent" sound.
