Nationwide, Broadcasting & Cable reports that local Fox GMs are NOT really happy w/the prospect of a Conan show. Apparently, they're happy with the schedule the way it is. Given the current economy, does anyone want to expand anything around here?

All of the speculation about Fox misses a key point: If Conan came to Fox they would almost assuredly put him on at 10:30 Central - not 10. Most of the Fox O&O stations have recently added news at 10 central (11 eastern.) Other affiliates have solid ratings at 10 central with syndicated shows. I think it would be much easier for Fox affils to clear time for the show at 10:30 central (11:30 eastern) than 10. It would set up a true 3 way race at 10:30.
