I belatedly came to the MP3 revolution in December, and just downloaded one of the Eric Von Haessler/Jimmy Barron experiments. These shows cut off in November, so what do you think the likelihood is these podcasts paid off and they've been hired for Q100? Maybe that's when negotiations began and they've been fine-tuning something for us ever since.

I was having similar thoughts - thinking it could be Larry + Steve + unknown with no Eric.

As far as the s'podcasts go, there was a statement made somewhere that they trickled off during the holidays due to everyone's diverse travel schedule, etc, and they should be resuming shortly. I think this was on JB's bog.

I would lean towards JB NOT being involved for a couple of reasons 1. Getting burned by Cumulus nearly 2 years ago AND 2. He's pretty busy pitching gameshow concepts to television networks.

My guess is though it is the Reg Guys based on SSS and Larry's premature announcement. Larry said it was including Eric so I don;t think he would have saaid it, if it didn't.

That makes no sense. Wachs got them all fired the last two times. Baron and Von Haessler do the podcasts, (WITH ANDREWS!!!) VH and ANDREWS were on TRG. Baron and VH stop doing the podcasts, and the rumors of TRG coming on board start up. Andrews was not fired from 99X. Wachs pranks Rodney probably because he's bitter that he was passed over by Cumulus for the return of TRG.

Well that's proof enough for me. We all know Church Chick is the foremost authority on what's going on in Atlanta radio.

I would suspect someone who was part of their show and still lunches with them knows more about what's going on with their careers than most of the people on this board who claim to be insiders.
