What if you're not there?

This is true for any satellite DJ.

When there was a Timeless Classics affiliate where I live, the late morning DJ only had a two-hour show.

Jeff Rollins is on for three hours. However, what if an affiliate only has the last two hours?

He played "The Pink Panther Theme" and commented about Henry Mancini, even saying he had played "Peter Gunn Theme" earlier. That's if a station was airing the show at that time, of course.

I notice these DJs don't talk about what will happen next hour, and it is true some of them won't be back for that hour, or some stations will even go off the air because it's getting dark.

"You Belong to Me" (The Duprees).

And, Jeff says, I belong to you for the next couple of hours.

It depends on the station, though. On the West Coast, he could be only a couple of minutes from the end of his shift. That's if someone starts a local morning show at 7.
