What if....

What if we had a CHR station similar to Kiss100 London
that played a variety of Top40 music with Hip Hop, Dance, R&B, and specialty shows on the weekend like Reggae?!

Well it would be rhythmic and not chr..... We already have a few stations similar to Kiss 100 USA style,, like WPTY long Island,, but they would have to be USA versions.

You are right it would definetely be RHY as far as music choice but the station does sound more like a pop station.. And I did tune into WPTY and it sounded good, had uptempo music but it doesn't have that sound like Kiss I guess because Kiss is a European station and they just do things differently I have no clue.

What I appreciate about them though is the fact that they have live shows 24-7 nothing is syndicated and it all sounds up beat and energetic there's not a moment that goes by that the station sounds dull or not exciting...

Kudos to England stations for keeping CHR and RHY and Urban radio alive!

Yeah the UK stations are all good.. Aside from Kiss have you also checked out the Galaxy stations,,, they are dance and urban,, but have more CHR feel than Kiss,,, also Choice FM and 1xtra,, are good for Urban, and and slight bit of Rhythmic Dance,, and you got Radio 1,, a UK pop station that leans on Indie/Punk. Its a good default chr, if hits one isnt your thing.

The Galaxy stations are evolving to CHR/Pop, and will be rebranded to the name Capital come January. That's when they'll syndicate whatever airs on 95.8 Capital FM London, at least part of the day.

Yea I listen to them all! haha I really just enjoy how creative the stations sound, the design of their website, their branded logos, etc etc

I wish that CC would just Brand Kiss FM and do more of a regional thing similar maybe a Kiss FM for East Coast, West and Mid West idk it'd take a lot of planning but would be quite interesting and a lot better than the boring weekend syndicated shows they have now...
