What is 1470 thinking???

Could be that ESPN demanded clearance of at least that much since they don't have Mike and Mike on board.
Or it could be that 1470 realized that the second two hours of any Bruno show is pretty much like the first two hours...or yesterdays...or the day before that...of the Bruno show.

It was a contract deal between ESPN,Sporting news & 1470,its the only way to keep everyone happy,as Cowherds ratings are the lowest.

apologies. I can't pickup the station over here. I wasnt aware Bruno was still going past 10.
In any event, i'm thinking ESPN wants them to carry their programming, unless 1470 can go local....which apparantly it won't.

I hear they hired Scott Brantley to do afternoons. Maybe they have to shuffle some ESPN programming around to clear the hours for a local afternoon show.

If the Brantley rumor is correct as posted above, that would seem to eliminate Bowden here (and I think he originates from Orlando anyway).<P ID="signature">______________

We can only hope they replace "When I was coaching..." Bowden. It is amazing how any sports topic from golf to figure skating relates back to the good old days when Bowden was a coach, instead of just talking about it all the time.
Personally I hope that 1470 does well. And 620 WDAE needs some competition. They are way to full of themselves.

I live in north florida and I can get AM 1470 from Tampa/St.Pete. So AM 1470 will be the new ESPN Radio?? What about WDAE-AM 620? I think WDAE-AM 620 carries FOX Sports Radio right on the weekends....
