Does it ever get old with those old Pink FLoyd & Bob Seger tracks? Good god that music is fried.

They're finally playing 90's music. KLOS and other classic rock stations have been doing that for a long time. In another 10 years they may even be playing songs from this century if they're still around!

Von, the fact is that the demographic is aging out of advertisers' prime range. Stations like KGB have to freshen things to attract young(er) listeners, or the dollars will dry up and so will the station. Sorry man - you gotta keep up with the times.

Personally, I still like Pink Floyd and Bob Seger, but I'd sure as hell rather hear "See Emily Play" and "Back in '72" once in a while than the 10,000th iteration of "Us And Them." But that's a discussion for another time and topic ;D

i can say,i agree.klos in los angeles has mixed it up a bit.me personally they should knock off the playlist crap.

Sorry to say, the days of freeform FM are dead and buried. We'll never see those days again (except for the occasional Jim Ladd "special dispensation").

Guess that's why iPods are so popular
