I guess they just don't care anymore. The line-up during the week is soooooo poor and the weekends seem to be getting back to infomercials only and whoever pays for a show....don't they even want to TRY to get ratings anymore? So sad to see a legendary station fall so far.
You are so right. For those of us who have lived around L.A. all of our lives it is painful to see the once great KFWB thrown to the infomercial wolves.
This is why it was so shocking to see KFI air the Sunday afternoon money program that posters here say is a paid informerical. A PD from Palm Springs posted the informercail information about the Edelman show on this board a while back.Informercials are garbage and they do not attract radio listeners.
Sad to see this happen now at KFI.
But they still have El Rushbo the king of all radio and the strange J&K combo.
Somebody MUST listen or else they'd get no results and then stop advertising...and yes, Rick Edelman is an infomercial. He WAS paying to be on KFWB, but is now over on KFI and actually getting listeners.
