What is going on at KOOL 100.7??? Where is Tom Murphy at??? This insane....it seems to me that Briggs has no idea what the heck he is doing to this station....when you have a jock that may have to take a day off for something I at least would like to hear a fill-in. Okay no traffic or weather and reports during the drive time will just send people flying off the station. That is not KOOL at all. If I owned the station I would just be disappointed in the overall performance of the station. I know KOOL may be up in a monetary stand point but as for listners it is not going good for them. I would just like to see for one day KOOL have a full-line up of jocks and make a go as a live 24/7 station. But then again I hear that Mr. Renda says the station has to make money before he will do anything...well if KOOL is making money hire a PD that will do the job to make the station greater like its old counterpart. Heck even better if they did a simulcast on 94.1. At least everyone would be able to get oldies without a problem. Sunny is a format that is going to flop on them. Watch it I expect it will happen. Well later.

I am sure Tom would be excited to know that someone is THIS disappointed he was not on the air today.

I joke, but seriously, they didn't have a fill-in? They didn't even pull a Cox and go from music to the TraffiCenter to a stopset? In a building full of people who can handle themselves on the mic? Unbelievable.

Briggs must have been at a remote in St. Augustine helping Kyle Stevens hold the crowd back at the Ponce Mall.

I was really disappointed not because Tom was on the radio....he deserves a day off or some time if he needs it....it is the fact that not one person did a fill in for the afternoon slot......if this keeps going KOOL will not survive much longer no matter what the amount of money they are making....I am sorry to say...I have started listening to oldies on my computer...heck my computer does a better rotation of songs...and some songs are songs that would come in the Classic Hits category. Plus if they got the stream online I would listen but it seems to be coming very soon....but what is very soon??? This is making me upset.

They need to be a shamed of themselves of how one station can make a whole cluster look bad....right now Gator is the bright star shining on this cluster for Renda because Lite is unstable in if CC decides to flip Rooster at any time they could go after Lite as Magic or something of that nature....jeeze didn't 100.7 use to be able to pull 3 and 4 shares almost ten years ago....they should be doing it now......Renda Jax may need to look at what Renda OKC is doing...three of the four stations are in the top 5 with KOMA at number 2 right now....something is working there....how about here for once...heck Pittsburgh is doing better then Jax......I say if Lite is going to unstable and becomes the second rated station in Jax I would suggest that they move Gator and Lite on the dial with Gator going to a 100kw signal and Lite going to the 99.9 signal.......Gator then would really have fun with WQIK. Now if CC decide to take 93.3 on to a ClassiC Hits format KOOL might as well just go ahead and start looking for another format because it will kill KOOL.

LOL....good one.....Briggs is the most lame shot PD we have in this city and Renda is just ignoring.......this getting to be a crunch time for a station that has potential.

Relax man. Simply, Tom was filling in for The Arf. And from the little I heard Tom was right in his element. When I tuned in to Tom's show on the way home, I was expecting to hear Briggs. But when I realized no one was on the air in that critical daypart, it just validates what many of us have been saying about that entire operation.

kool is a lame duck station their bright spot too me is 96.1 WJEZ i listen to that even though i like the oldies format, but wkql just plain ?????.
Somebody tell me why should anybody listen or even advertise with them?

Hey I am still on for Gator....Gator has very big potential to do damage and the proof is in the puddin when you look at all the free concerts they have done....Hey we are getting close to the one year mark when 99.9 made the move from Daytona to Jax. But as for KOOL I am starting to give up. I thought Renda and KOOL was going to get better and become a top 10 station but it seems to me that managment falls on deaf ears when it comes to who programs the station and who its on air talent is. This is making me sick. Tom Murphy is the only good thing they have. The Arf is all right but he needs to focus on that playlist a little bit better as MD. Otherwise not having mid-day talent can just sink a station....if I am right besides Sunny they are the only other station that does not have mid-talent....hum. Well it seems to me that the Eagle is going to get more my listing pleasure. If I were Mr. Renda I would just get rid of Briggs and keep Tom and Arf and bring in someone fresh give the guys a week off and allow someone new to come in and revamp the station. Then return the next week with a refeshed look and a whole new line up of music and air talent. I hope the people at Renda start listening to the station that they have run into the ground. WAKE UP RENDA!!!! We have some points to make and it seems that no one listens.....well later on.
