What is going on with 102.9NOW?

This week, I have noticed that the station has added or brought back songs like:
Camila Cabello - Havana
OneRepublic - Counting Stars
Jessie J/Ariana Grande/Nicki Minaj
Fall Out Boy - Sugar, We're Going Down
Pitbull, Ne-Yo, Afrojack, and Nayer - Give Me Everything
Spin Doctors - Two Princes
The Calling - Wherever You Will Go
among others.
You should listen to the station yourself and see if you hear any of this.

Isn't that what a Hot AC station is? I know they play pop crossovers but unless they're playing rap (like 2Pac or Eminem or Childish Gambino), I don't see anything wrong.

Oh wait... Nicki Minaj is there. Yeah I see what you mean.

Stuff like Spin Doctors or The Calling is typical for Hot AC.

No different from the Hot AC playlist in San Antonio or Austin. Magic 105.3 in SA, has Drake, Eminem and Post Malone on regular rotation.

None of these songs I've recalled hearing on KDMX in a long time. I've also noticed that Breakeven by The Script is out of iHeartRadio's Top 100 chart for 102.9NOW (https://1029now.iheart.com/music/top-songs/) (unless they play it again) Also, some of these songs have made debuts this week such as:
50. Havana by Camila Cabello
55. Sugar, We're Going Down by Fall Out Boy
59. Two Princes by Spin Doctors
72. Creep by TLC
77. Ironic by Alanis Morisette
80. Bad Romance by Lady Gaga
