What is going on with WCBS-FM?! I'm confused!!

Hi, I am a current student studying radio and I have been reading posts on radio-info for a little less than a year now, but have never contributed. Does anyone know anything about the new WCBS-FM website? I walk away for five minutes from my workspace and come back to find that there is a new design to WCBS-FM's website.

Also, does anyone know anything about Bob Shannon? I know Joe Causi (AWESOME DJ!!) has been filling in for Bob for a while now and I just noticed that the new website excludes Bob from the list and does not list any contact info for the station...

I just want to know if I am missing anything and what is going on ???
 
The new website design is just the new CBS Radio WordPress layout, it's been rolling out slowly in all of the markets.
 
Bob Shannon is ill. Since there is a privacy issue involved, no information has been released about the nature of his illness or how long he will be out. He certainly has been an asset to WCBS-FM and New York radio for many years. We all wish him the best.

Thank you all so much for your replies....I wish Bob Shannon the best as well. I was just a little confused about the new website because I was under the impression that it was only the news/talk stations that had switched over. Thanks for clarifying :)
 
yes the website changed again!!! stroll down for interesting stuff, and Bob is a wonderful DJ, I hope he gets well soon and we all hear him again!!! He does deserve his privacy.
