What is it about Air America Radio?

I know several people, all liberals, who listen to Rush and definitely do not "like" him. They yell back at the radio and explain why they listen to somebody they "hate" by saying that they want to know what the "other side" is saying. I suspect that they would listen to liberal talkers if they could, but there are no such animals available on our local airwaves. Which raises a question that I've long wondered about: Wouldn't liberals be somewhat likely not to list conservative talkers in their Arbitron books and conservatives not to list libs in theirs -- in order to not give comfort to "the enemy?"
