What is KAWV 98.1 like?

Hi, what is 98.1 KAWV in Lihue, HI like? Has anyone seen their logo or have an aircheck of that station? I am interested in finding more about that station and where I can find their logo. If anyone has a copy of it, please let me know. Thank you!

As of about two weeks ago, KAWV is off the air. They have been running at very low power (about 100 watts) for about a year, and the plug was pulled by the owners of KFMN in Lihue, where the KAWV studios were located. Not much of a studio, however, as it was a single computer and a mackie mixer and one microphone running into an unlicensed STL.

The street says it is for sale.

I took some pictures last March of the transmitter site:

About 3/4 of the antenna elements were disconnected at that time. The place is in serious need of repair.
Edited by SML on 06/03/05 09:16 AM.
