Las Vegas What is KJUL Doing?

Why is KJUL competing with KKLZ and KSNE? Does the market have room for a 3rd? Especially a rimshot? They don't even show in the ratings. Less than 5k listeners at any given time. I wonder the thought process?

Plus the owner is near 80. He can't be in the right mind. Bad decisions? They take away drivers license? But not a broadcast license?

I edited the vulgar title of this thread. It would help if you say what the formats on each station are. Even those familiar with Las Vegas radio don't know the details of each station's playlist, playlist overlap, music rotations, etc.

My mother was head of the board of directors of Cleveland's biggest public hospital organization when she was 94. George Soros at 94 is still active in running several billion dollar venture capital and investment companies.

I'm not 80 yet, but I consult a bunch of radio stations in South America.

I could go on... but you have extreme age discrimination issues.

You consult South American radio stations? Let me guess... make sure you have power and don't let the cartel in the building. Look, I could consult them too.

What a girl. We are all adults here.

Just wait until you get up there in age. I'm sure you'll appreciate certain d*ckish people questioning your competency.

Based on your posts, somehow I doubt you would be given a gig scooping ice cream, let alone consulting anything.

Including you? Not from what I've read.

Those who cannot do... consult. Those who cannot consult... consult South American radio stations.

Pull the stick outta your behind.

Who wizzed in your wheaties this morning?

What’s with all the hostility and negativity?

David, who you childishly referred to as a girl, has forgotten more about the radio business than you'll ever know. You might learn something rather than acting like some big shot with a keyboard. But getting your buzz by being a troll, it's pretty clear you're not likely interested in knowledge.

He also earned enough money from his decades in radio in multiple countries on multiple continents to single handedly create and fund the largest online repository of broadcasting materials ever assembled. And it's all free of charge, for the good of the industry. But to Kelly's point, that is more of that pesky "knowledge" stuff.
