What is KNPI-LP Corpus Christi?

What is the LPFM 100.5 in Padre Island/Corpus Christi playing? Or is it even on?
They still have an old website which lists their old frequency, it used to be on 93.3 when it first began a few years ago but moved to 100.5 since.

Last time I was there, it was off the air, no 100.5 or 93.3 was broadcasting.

If you ask me, Texas Pellican Media should update their website and get the station broadcasting again. I can't imagine why the incorrect website is still there, doesn't it cost money to keep websites going?

FCC Information: https://fccdata.org/?facid=&call=kn...=&lmspl=&party_type=LICEN&latd=&lond=&lang=en

No STA was filed with the FCC indicating the station is/was silent.

The station might be operating minimal hours. The requirement is 36 hours a week.

More than likely the frequency was applied for, a construction permit granted and the best plan they had fell apart. Before the construction permit expired, they felt if they just had another 4 or 5 weeks beyond the expiration date of the construction permit, they could be on the air. They would have had to claim they were on the air to get that license (maybe they were). Then that tower lease or whatever didn't work out. With that license, if they ever get on the air (assuming the above is true), they're good to go. Why file a STA? If they don't get on the air, oh well.
