What is KNSD doing about their weather spots?

Is KNSD going to hire a new weather personality to replace Joe Lizura on the weekday evening broadcasts? The station is stretched thin with only Whitney, Pat Brown and Lorrie Jordan. Joe was well trained and had the AMS Seal of Approval (which the station continues to display over Pat Brown's shoulder at the start of her segment) but the others seem to be just reading the weather segment scripts.

Pat brown has a certificate? That's news to me.
There seems to be a shortage of good weather people all over the country lately. Here in Lubbock, there are two stations without full time lead weather forecasters. And the third station here has a meteorologist who is still recovering from a mild stroke (so he take a lot of time off).

I dunno...
Maybe all the meteorologists are out solving global warming, which seems to be a problem all of a sudden... ;)
