What is louisvilles deal and the 80s???

We have louie 104.3 saying 80s and light 106.9 saying 80s wtf??? It has been over 2 decades since we have been in the 80s time to move on i say!!! Not a big fan of louie and light. I am not pleased with 106.9 for not playing 24/7 christmas music this year. No worries they wont get the bump in ratings and besides they have an identity crises. They are not sure whether they want to be the hairband station or the chr station or the i dont know what i am radio station. There ratings are no where near what they use to be.

Be interesting to see what new owners will do with them.

Bottom line time to move on from the 80s it will be twenty thirteen in two weeks!!!

I like Louie's playlist better than Lite's. Louie has become my P1; but then I'm in my mid 40's. They hit my era perfectly.

I know i know  But anytime i get my way in louisville radio it goes away.

Case and point i loved back in the 90s when alt was getting big 105.9 Q2 but it went away. I loved she 93.1 but it went away. They play ani defranco and cherry popping daddys how cool is that lol Not very cause cc matthews did away with it  makes me sad

I liked 790 wwky airing both right and left talk but it went away and when lrs went back on the air as 105.1 it was really good then radio one effed it up. So that glee song is very appropo.

The suits eff everything up!!!

Oh well what can one do??? Have a merry christmas everyone!!!

Do what I do- search for livestreams of what you want to hear. I enjoy listening to the Casey Kasem American Top 40 countdowns, and since no station plays the 80s version, I listen to it online. I also listen to the AM740 station from Ontario online, and the internet only yesterdayusa.com station. Also John Quincy's tribute sites are jewels, and I've been known to listen to blasts from the past. Support these sites if at all possible.

I still enjoy listening to terrestrial radio, but we do have other options. Local programmers will have to deal with their judgements now more than ever.
