Yes, it is stunting. 
So in effect we've "technically" have been without a dance station on the FM for a total of 10 minutes, not counting the near 2 days of "dead air" Pulse had towards the end.
Come 6AM Monday, it all begins anew

Tony... shouldn't Party 105 at least be eluding to something happening tomorrow? I have been listening to the station very sporadically online and haven't heard them say anything about reaching NYC starting tomorrow on 87.7 yet. HOWEVER I'm sure everything is still happening, I'm just saying it's odd, no?

it's good they're stunting dance though so they don't lose too much cume before Party takes over. I would be curious as to understand the weaker signal though. Perhaps someone with technical knowledge can chime in.

What you've been hearing, 10 minutes after Pulse 87 left the airwaves, was Vic's iPod with his mixes being heard. They have been TIRELESSLY working on every aspect of the audio and transmission and should hopefully be "on the go" come the 6AM launch.
I will SAY THIS AGAIN. Be supportive! It's going to take time but as I have said before, I fully trust Vic with this. If I had my doubts, I would have said so....but I really feel positive about this. We just stay the course here and we will be alright!

STL's? Why use them anymore get a couple of Barix boxes! That is what everyone uses theses days.

Right now they are playing regular music. Is this what were gonna here tomorrow?
They're play a mix of song on a loop for the time being. Since I never heard Vic Latino's Neighborhood before I'll reserve judgment until I get a better feel what he's all about.

And every song that I have heard has had the word "Party" in it.
The audio sounded like a 32k mono stream all weekend until this evening. I guess they were installing an STL between Ronkonkoma and Queens, and those things don't happen overnight. In the meanwhile, they probably were using a POTS codec to send the audio, and that explains the poor audio quality. It was a loop of the same songs, and the legal ID "WNYZ New York" always played in the middle of The Groove Doctors - All You Need Is Love at random times, not at the top of the hour. It was dead air for a few hours today, and now it's playing songs with the word "party" in them. The audio quality sounds like any other FM station, but the processing is noticeably different from Pulse 87.
