What is on W268AN (101.5 in Nassau) now?

Is it still a simulcast of PartyFM, or is it now simulcasting 98.5?

I would say that it's useful to have Party 101.5 because some radios don't tune to 87.7 and WNYZ's signal is weaker than 101.5 in eastern Nassau/westen Suffolk, and 101.5 also hits Stamford, CT. There are already 4 other spanish stations in 101.5's coverage area. 101.5's useless during most of the summer because NJ 101.5 beats it up only 2 miles from the transmitter. During tropo, 87.7 and 105.3 will be enhanced and 101.5 will lose most of its coverage, at other times, 101.5 covers 15 miles. Plus, it's nice to say that the PartyFM network already has 3 stations, even if one of them is a translator.
They really should mention the 3 frequencies on PartyFM and promote it as the station you can hear across all of Long Island and the Connecticut shoreline. It will work for the people who live in NYC and drive across Long Island to party in the Hamptons.

They have never stopped broadcasting Party on 101.5. There has been talk of doing something else with it but that hasn't happened yet.

87.7 runs different spots than 1015/1053...interesting.
That makes sense. Sell the same ad space twice and double (or more than double) your revenue. It makes no sense to advertise Suffolk county businesses on 87.7.
101.5 cannot legally air different commercials than 105.3.
