What is so EXTREME about KMEL's HD-2 Hip Hop channel?

I just took a listen to the new HD-2 that KMEL is running and I am left asking, what the hell is so EXTREME about this channel? I was expecting a barrage of non stop hip hop from all the West coast and Bay Area players, instead I hear Jammie Fox's Unpredictable and Mary J Blige's Be Without You back to back? Uh, I thought the whole point of HD-2 was to sound different from your sister HD-1, not exactly alike! Someone at CC/San Francisco better correct it and fast. <P ID="signature">______________

And to top that off, Their sister station Wild 94.9 is calling its HD-2 Dance station. Wild Espaniol,,,(Why) are they calling it that? Their is very little Latin style music on that channel.

They were playing it at 2:46 in the Morning.

But the point is, this particular channel is not offering anything unique that isn't on the main signal at some point. If you're gonna label yourself Extreme Hip Hop, then your core artists should be

Too Short
DJ Quik(and his crew like Suga Free, Hi C, 2nd II None)
Wu Tang Clan and the solo memeber's projects(Meth, RZA, ODB, etc etc)
NWA(and Dre, Eazy, Ren, and Cube's Solo stuff)

maybe CC announced those formats before they notified the people actually programming them, and the changes just havent been done. the HD signals have been up and running for a few months now already, CC just decided to announce them now as everyone else was too. They probably havent even begun to program the Extreme hiphop yet.
