Now that Barnes has been shown the door by DaveFm, I wonder what morning show will get the ax next. Also, what station or stations will flip formats? Let the rumors begin.

And since Whoppi has her national show now, it looks like another opportunity for Lite to save even more $$$$.

Which station will flip next...that's a good question:
The ones that seem to be brought up most on this board:
92.9 Dave FM- I'm kind of surprised it's still around. I guess they will be giving it one last try with this whole re-launch on next week. Or is that just a diversion? Kind of like when Cool 105.7 was going to go off the air, it had just been announced JJ Jackson would be reclaiming mornings.
94.9 Lite FM- Rodney did a blog on this today. PD out, John Wetherbee out, Promotions Director recently left too. I have a hard time seeing this. I know they've fallen recently, but it's not be that long since they we're doing well. I think they'll head back up after the River excitement dies down. Maybe they are just going to change the name of the station again (but not the format). I could really see Whoopi in the future.
96rock- Braves season is almost over. I expect there could be some changes at that point, even if they just make adjustments to the music mix. I really wish they'd go a little harder and deeper. Many posters seem to feel they will flip to talk since they already have TRG & The Braves. Like Lite FM, they currently don't have a PD and Chris Williams is currently filling that duty.
99X- I know some still feel this will happen, but I'm not really seeing it. Probably will see some kind of adjustments this fall, including a new morning show hopefully.
105.3 The Buzz- Don't really see this one happening either. The only thing is CC has to do something soon and being they way they are, the've probably gone too long now without flipping anything (all the way back in May 05). I've almost wondered if they would perhaps combine 96rock and The Buzz into one station (kind of just taking things back to how they were before 04).
640 WGST- What the hell to do with the frequency?
Which one do you really think it would most likely be (doesn't have to be on this list, these are just the ones people seem to speculate about the most)?
What new format, besides FM talk, would you like to see?
I can't help but feel something big will likely be happening very soon.

If Lite flips, I really can't see them changing to something that would exclude Delilah and Christmas music.

MoveIN. Whoopi in the morning. Similar stations have already been flipped in larger markets.

But CC suits paid for her, they are going to use her. They'll fire high priced morning shows and replace them with Whoopi... Ugh... No wonder radio sucks!
Im once again telling you all, if one , just one station would swap to a new format idea Ive had for a long time then the station would be a total success. It would be easy to sell, you wouldn't need a morning team and it would challenge your mind to work in ways you would never imagine. Its a great idea, Maybe I can pass it on to some program director!
