What is up with Mike Edwards at SX????

Why would Mike Edwars take a mainstream market leader such as 95 SX and crumble to upstart B-92???? 95 has the heritage and audience but they are folding and copying newcomer B-92. Can you say bye bye to 95 SX's P-1s??? Mike go take a programming 101 class - it will help you on your next gig - after you get fired for wrecking 95 SX.

It seems to be a trend at Citadel Broadcasting in Charleston.

WTMA has this new image of "hype-free" "no speculation news". When did anyone ever think ol' TMA was doing such things? I guess they also found some new production elements to play with to hype up Bill Walsh's weather reports. My god, they're partners with Live 5, the biggest sensationalizing run and gunning television outfit in the market. I see said the blind man. That might be the reason they are distancing themselves from their television counterparts.

It just sounds hokey.

WTMA sounded just fine as it was before this decision was made. I also find it funny that adding a sports broadcast to your station, makes it a complete talk station or a total news station or whatever. My god, the Braves, Panthers, and Gamecocks... All broadcasts that are predominately WATCHED(keyword) in sports bars and homes all over the area.

Just a few thoughts.
