Charles on HJY? His show sounds so pre-recorded now. He does some quick ones real fast, goes to a sounder and back to music or commmercial. Is it because his crew abandoned him ?
They used to sit around and BS, now the show seems so impersonal. Is he on his way out or something? Too exhausted from doing HJJ at the same time?

I don't linger too long on the Charles show as I'm really not interested in most of what he talks about anyway but in scanning I have noticed there's more music on the show and less Charles.He's all about just being Charles and I think CC has realized they can eliminate well known personalities with no loss in ratings so I think we can look at him as a dinosaur waiting for the comet.Still I think it's a mistake to try to change the show in spite of my opinion of it.I would not be surprised if the tactic is to hold him back so when the axe falls the show that gets axed won't be the one listeners were accustomed to over the years.I still predict the evening duo to move to afternoons and Brangiforte to move to evenings.

I think losing the troll and Laurenti has something to do with it. Brangiforte is a very good jock - but somewhat new to Charles where the Troll and Laurenti were with Charles for years. It takes time to build up a rapport with someone.

I agree though - Charles has lost something over the last few years - I used to really enjoy him - now not so much . . .
