What is with the 60's

I'm used to a 1970 or even 1972 tune being played on the 60's channel cuz they supposedely fir the 60's sound.But give me a break....It Only Takes a Minute by The Tavares from 1975 and I Will Survive by Gloria Gaynor from 1979..disco no less..What the hell is that?<P ID="edit"><FONT class="small">Edited by TennStud on 10/02/05 05:11 AM.</FONT></P>

Those songs were played on Saturday night October 1 on the Cousin Brucie show, which is more like an all-purpose oldies show, outside of the regular format.
