What is wrong with Kimmer's show?

What is wrong with Kimmer's show. I used to enjoy it a long time ago. Now, most the time he replays newsmaker lines. Even if you listen to it over 1.5 hours, you get the same stuff repeated. What happen to originality?

What would you suggest to fix his show and take it back to his glory days?
 
I used to listen to and enjoy Kim's show on my drive home, years ago... I think it was best when Mikey was producing. Now I cannot listen to it at all. The humor feels so repetitive, and more mean than ever, and when he's not funny, he's foaming at the mouth about liberals. I don't need to hear more bile, I got traffic to deal with!

Maybe they should bring Mikey Rose back.

IF Kimmers show is so bad and he has lost so much market share as has been announced here then why isn't his show in any danger of being axed?

Nothing wrong with Kimmers program.

For a guy going through what has be a difficult time right now, I think his show sounds fine.

Its been Kimmer as usual in my opinion.

The Kimmer and his days are about over. He will be forgotten in 2 weeks once he is gone. WGST just needs to bite the bullet and part ways.

Very funny.

Kimmers glory days is when he had a staff behind hime including Nancy, Mikey, Fresh, Leslie Sharp, and others.

I originally posted this thread back in 2005. Wow. Ok, I guess we ask the same question with a little twist. What will work now that will make his show entertaining, or will he sink back into the same delivery as before?
 
Not meaning to get political, But if Kimmer does "local" not national stuff this would appeal a lot of folks tired of the constant Obama bashing* on WSB. Form personal experience, coming up with 4 + humorous bits an hour without a staff of writers like SNL is difficult if not impossible. What was "funny" yesterday when show prep was (or should have been**) written, sometimes does not work today.

* I realize that opposing every move Obama makes is the duty of the GOP, just like the Bush bashing the Demos dished out.

** if you can wing it, do stand up, movies or TV, like Robin Williams or Johnathan Winters (RIP) and make some serious money.
