What Is WWL Thinking?

It’s another football season with the brain trust at WWL is feeding the public more worthless programs like “The Fan & The Pro”. It should be titled “The Hoke & The Joke”, hosted by Bob Mitchell. Please, spare us. Here’s a guy who knows nothing of sports, has a laugh that nothing short of irritating and worse, thinks he’s funny. Call after call, it’s “Pal, how do you think the Saints and LSU are going do, three hours of this rubbish. Whoever Christian is, he sounds like he has some sports background but where did he come from. I feel bad he and Gajan have to sit there and be a part of his worthless endeavor of sports host. Then, he has a Saturday show about home improvement? All he talks about is how the guy, Paul, works on his house and what’s on the caller’s “honey-do” list. During the week, he can be best described as a nightly abortion.

Then, they have the jokester filling in for the “Spudster” this week. Mr. Tucker is the self proclaimed “game show host” and WWL “funny man”. According to whom? His arrogant self? He comes up short in his attempt at being witty. Comedic charm, he lacks. Spewing out statements of how he’s making money doing commercials, how big his house is, like anyone remotely cares. If we’d want funny, we’ve got Letterman to watch.

Gawd, Mitchell is *so* never was. Even Johnny Carson was retired and this fossil is still retained under the hope that he'll entertain some illiterate moron somewhere with his shallow brain and ignorant topics. What *is* WWL thinking?

Maybe it's time for Diane Newman to go and give WWL a new start. Diane is damned lucky she doesn't have any real competition or she'd have been a bag lady years ago offering crap like Mitchell's program.

Can any of you name one person in this city she cold replace these morons with??? And I don't see anyone knocking at the door to New Orleans tring to get in and host. Tyree was the gasp of talent that WWL had. Ken Beck has a backround in talk radio, I say let him do the Spud shift and put Spud or Tucker on at night. How bout this, Put Tom Fitzmorris on in place of Spud for two hours, then he can do his WWWWWWWWWL show.

Driving around, flipping around, I came across Mr. Intelligence, (or lack thereof) Bob Mitchell attempting to discuss a sensitive issue in the "Jena 6". Making the statement that he was getting much of his information off CNN. Pull the plug on this buffoon. He has the IQ of a cypress knee! And that god awful laugh has no place in such a seroius issue. It's time for the glue factory for that old nag.
