What is your favorite Hot AC?

I like rock-based Hot AC's (or Mod AC)

KQKQ (Q98-5) - Omaha

KOSO (B92-9) - Modesto

My two cents...
WWIK/Charleston, SC
989chickfm.com
(and diggin' the image chick. Anybody know who that is?)

Z 93 (Yuma, Arizona) This is one of the affilates of (Dial-Global HOT AC) format. It looks like HOT AC is on their station almost 24/7 except Bob And Sheri

My current favs are;

KSTP - "KS 95" Minneapolis
WSJT - "Play 98.7" Tampa
KZZO - "Now 100.5" Sacramento
WQAL - "Q 104" Cleveland

I really like most of the CBS Hot AC's right now. I think they have the right idea and are headed in the right direction with the format. The days of Pop/Alternative or Modern AC are over with. CBS has moved a lot of their Hot AC's to more of a current and recurrent based sound with more of an equal mix of rock and rhythmic tracks. (more of an Adult CHR instead of traditional Hot AC, if you will). I think this is the right move based on where music and listeners are at these days. The Hot AC's that are still rock based and sound like Modern AC/AAA hybrids sound really dated to me and sound like throwbacks to the 90s. In this respect, I think CBS's Hot ACs sound much better than a lot of Clear Channels right now.

Totally agree...WBMX in Boston has dropped pretty much all of the 90s Modern AC stuff and it sounds great.

My fav. modern AC is WPNT 106.9 The Point in Brookfield, WI which is sadly gone and also my fav. 80s station is former KXCL Flash 92/103-9 in Sacramento, CA. I'm not sure on the 90s station yet. Fav. adult top 40 station is 101 WIXX out of Green Bay, WI.
