Nothing. Except as a topic for a park bench full of nostalgia-drunk retired radio groupies.

Somehow I am still leaning towards Adult Standards, since San Francisco is without a station. I doubt it would be Sports, since that format is on 2 stations (KNBR-680 and KTCT-1050) and both are owned by Cumulus, The Raiders is on KSFO and The Oakland A's is on KYCY-1550 and KIFR-106.9 and without some local team on your sports station, that format would be doomed, even on a 50000 Watt Blowtorch. Now All News, that might be something. There are some markets with 2 All News Stations (New York And Los Angeles comes To Mind), but Pappas wasn't successful with All News Radio in his own hometown of Fresno (Remember KMPH-107.5?) before he switched to News/Talk which he wasn't successful with that format either (pulverized by local legend KMJ-580). My bet is still Adult Standards.djj said:Interestingly, since Monday 2/5, KTRB has aired several promos inciting listener response as 'to
what should the new format be?' They probably already know what they're going to do
come March 1, 2007, but I'm curious what you think...I initially thought maybe KTRB would do a
standards/MOR-type format, but my gut is now telling me it'll be sports or all news.
Thoughts, anyone?
