What network will you watch for election coverage and why?

CNN. Election returns and projections are breaking news. CNN still, IMHO, does breaking news the best.

And if you want, you can mute the TV and just keep an eye out for the big "projection" banner they use on screen when they're ready to call a race.

And if you have the TV unmuted and get preoccupied with other things, CNN's loud SFX will inform you that a projection is upcoming...

I'm probably going to watch NBC except for the 11PM hour when it will be the Daily Show, though I may flip between that and the NBC29 local news at 11.

NBC 29? I didn't know NBC went that high over the air! I wonder if there's a ABC 69 somewhere?....

To answer the query of the topic though, probably CNN because they really do have the "Best Political Team on Television"! If I'm lying, I'm dying!

NBC is and still is on 30 in Hartford. It used to be on 40 in Binghamton, NY until they converted to Fox...

Speaking of Fox, CBS has some really high ones due to that New World deal in 1994. They're on 58 in Milwaukee, and ended up buying 62 in Detroit when there were no takers from any of the independents at the time (this was before UPN and WB's debut in 1995). And CBS has been on 57 for years in Hazard, KY.

Not literally. Those channels went away in the DTV transition.

I didn't know "Raising Hope" wasn't going to be on, so I got some coverage from Fox. I assumed it was a top of the hour update but it didn't end.

Also, the TV that is hooked to TiVo was already on CBS so I happened to see Bob Schieffer announce or predict something.

I guess I didn't know about the House takeover until Mike Huckabee said it the next day on his radio show.
