what now for 97.5?

Journal drops the first shoe with 104.1. Citadel was waiting to see what they would do before making their final decision. Is it Hot Talk? When?

Actually, BOB sounds ok. I like the lack of mindless dj chatter. Just play the music and keep it up tempo. Now, if Tucson could only have FM oldies. Just dreaming here.

So you are saying that "sounding OK" is a good enough reason to keep a format that is getting crappy ratings and crappier revenue? If that were true stations might change formats about 20% less often than they do.

Anyway, I don't think they sound "OK" at all. They sound as crappy as their ratings and revenue.

Bob's biggest single problem is its liners which are an insult to just about anyone's intelligence.

You got a point there. In my 32 years of listening to radio in the Tucson Market, this period of time is the lowest and most boring to these ears. No wonder the satellite choices are attractive. There are format holes that are the size of the Grand Canyon in Tucson. When I visit, the CD player is the most entertaining item I spend time with.

I've pretty much avoided Tucson radio except 104.1. Luckily I get Kiss in Phoenix...very Rhythmic leaning but a lot better than KRQQ.

Street Talk re: 97.5

Hot FM Talk. Their first syndicated show is Glenn Beck. Citadel just grabbed the show from KJLL.
