What other markets does Mainline serve?

Mainline is also in Dayton, where they own 4 stations:

WROU 92.1 - Urban AC
WGTZ 92.9 - Adult Hits "Fly 92-9"
WDHT 102.9 - Hip-hop "Hot 102-9" (licensed to Springfield)
WING 1410 - Sports (ESPN affiliate)

There is a webpage for them at http://www.arlingtoncap.com/investments_mainline.html, but it is slightly outdated. The page says they also have stations in Richmond, VA; Hagerstown, MD; and Chambersburg, PA.

None of those markets seem to be streaming. I found another site that basically says the same thing:

http://www.mainlinerichmond.com

A company that hasn't started streaming their stations is a little unlikely to start anytime soon it seems. I remember before the streaming crisis, that WGTZ when it was Z-93 streamed. I don't remember if they were owned by Mainline back then. But of course it's a low priority and doesn't make any money so I will not expect too much from them. Thanks for the info. If they have any other markets let me know.

Dude, the problem with streaming that you can't seem to understand is that the royalty fees ASCAP, BMI, and SESAC charge are astronomical. They discourage Internet streamers who will give their music wide exposure by seeking unreasonable royalty rates against them. This is ludicrous because Internet streaming is in its infancy and imposing burdensome rates on a burgeoning industry is an insult to the the consumer and tantamount to the labels stunting the growth of a new age business that can help them sell music. Since Radio is struggling as it is now. Since there is no money to be made off of streaming a station's signal, it's the first thing to go.

That's a good point, Scott. We used to stream, then it got cut. Now, thankfully, it's back. The number of people listening to our streaming has tripled in the last couple of months. No, it didn't go from 2 people to 6 people, lol. Actually, I think it went from something like 150 people to around 800 people at any given time. It sounds pretty good, too.
