What radio station in the Seattle area do you listen to most frequently and why?

I probably listen to KZOK 102.5 or KVI 570 most often. I also have been listening to KKXA 1520 from Everett lately, as i'll need it to replace CKMX 1060 from Calgary Alberta when they leave the air.

When running local, in the morning it is switching between KIRO-FM and KOMO to keep track of traffic. Afternoon it is KIRO-FM because i like listening to Dori Monson. He is the best! Later in the day it is back to the traffic stations.

A mix of several stations. KMPS probably because their personalities are OK. KAFE 104.1 since their selection of AC is better than KRWM, and sometimes KJAQ. And whenever I can get it, KZIZ 1560 Sumner with the BA Smooth Jazz (because KWJZ doesn't exist anymore :( )

Right now, it's usually KOMO in the morning to see what's happening, and KIRO-AM in the evening for Mariners baseball. I sometimes listen to Star, but since they've crammed the content they used to do in 4 breaks down to 2, I don't listen much anymore. I'm surprised I haven't listened to 92.5 more than I have, but I really haven't. I do listen to 106.1 every Saturday or most Saturdays to see what the #1 song on AT40 is.

I usually listen to KUOW for news or KEXP and KPLU for music.

I have caught myself listening to KLCK occasionally.

KIRO and KUOW for talk, KEXP, The Q - Victoria, and occasionally Click for tunes. Used to listen to the (original) KMTT frequently.

Tom you meant FM I hope. KIRO News hasn't been on 710 in a few years.

Elsewhere around Puget Sound, I like KBAI 930 for Progressive Talk. CBC Radio One 690/88.1/90.5, CBC Radio 2 105.7/92.1, KWLE 1340, KGRG 1330, KUGS 89.3 and occasionally, KSVR 91.7 around Skagit County. CFOX is OK.

I'm not into KISM because they're so predictable. The same bands playing the same narrow selection of their biggest hit songs (even KZOK and CFMI shake it up a bit with a few lost cuts and one hit wonders. Which KISM NEVER does.) As far as the JACK stations go, CKLG 96.9 is still the best (although I miss Larry & Willy.) CBUX still whips the pants off KPLU when it comes to their jazz programming (I think KPLU should monitor CBUX for things to add to their playlist they're overlooking - they're a GOLDMINE.)

KAFE doesn't really register because I'm not particularly an AC fan (even around the holidays I prefer KRWM for Christmas tunes over KAFE because KRWM has a better selection and a few surprises.)
