=[ WHAT RADIO STATION WOULD YOU BRING BACK???]=

==[ ( WJJD )=THE LATE 50'S--EARLY 60'S NOW THAT WAS TRUE TOP 40 SOUND ]==( WSDM ) TO ME IT WAS THE FIRST REAL SOUND OF SMOOTH JAZZ ]==[ OK I'M READY TO GET PUT DOWN OR CALLED GRANPA AGAIN ]=00000WELL HAVE A GREAT DAY. ;D

First would be WJJD, but I'd take it as either the Top 40 station they were into the 1960's or the great C/W station they became.

Second would be the old WIND when they were somewhere between chicken rock and Howard Miller. Nice variety of music for the time.

Dave

First choice: WNIB 97.1 and second choice, WEFM 99.5, classical radio rocks!

I would love WJJD back as a big band/stardust station, AM 850 WAIT, as a beautiful music station, 99.9 FM WBUS when
they were top 40, Y108 when they were an AC ish station and I could pick up it up when they simulcast on AM 1280.
I also would bring back WXEZ 100.3 FM and 820 AM, as well as 103/5 "The Blaze", some others would be the oldies
on WKKD AM and FM and definitely the "BIG 89" WLS. I could probably go for another half hour here :D.

I know this is all just dreaming and strolling down memory lane, but; this sure is one of the most enjoyable threads
that I've posted on here at R-I! I'm sure I'll think of more and be back ;). Thanks for starting the thread!

"Vintage 'LS, 'CFL, and 'JJD for sure. How about WYNR? Or WSDM? Or maybe even WFYR? Personally, I'd also give a nod to the early '70s version of WIND.

WYNR aka "WIN-er" a very underrated station.

The Bus, the WBBM-FM from the early 90's, and of course Enrgy 92.7/5

I'd love to see the great 89 WLS back as it was. I'm going to throw some monkey wrenches and suggest a few that might not be so popular here. First bring back WMAQ as an all news station complete with C-QUAM stereo. WIND as "La Tremenda" circa 1992-1996, WOPA 1200 Circa 1992, and WTAQ as "La Mexicana".

I second WAIT as a beutiful music station, WJJD as standards, and how about WGCI Dusty 1390. All stations in C-Quam of course!

Dusty Radio 1390, That's a good one, I really enjoyed that station.

I don't speak Spanish, yet I did enjoy the variety of music on WOPA. I also enjoyed the tropical music format they had
later on as WLXX.
