All right guys, 100.3's had a week to work out the kinks. Knowing that free advice is worth exactly what you pay for it, here's your chance to be the internet expert that you know you are. It's the Obama era, so everyone's a winner!

I think WNOX sounds pretty good and got better everyday. They even did a live remote on Friday. How in the world did they get that done so quick. I compared the on air quality between Phil's remote on 98.7 and Dave Hooker's and WNOX 100.3 sounded much better.

Cowboy, you guys seem to have it all together. Programs, signal, studio audio, in-house production all get 2 thumbs up from the normally critical Bopper. Anyone care to reveal how you do your remotes? That hookup from the golf store on Friday sounded as good as it gets!

Also, good to hear Fred White on the giant signal!!! Hope Terry Fair is not having problems. Anyone know?

Cowboy is independent these days Mr. Bopper. No ties to anybody. Just rooting for Ed. He got put out to pasture for no honest reason and didn't even come close to getting his due.

I am, however, gettng a giant kick out of annoying as many fanboys as possible on this board. Kind of a bonus (borrowing again from The Shawshank Redemption.) It's like listening to dueling infomercials and getting to heckle. Next week some overstressed internet shill will probably accuse me of being George Mooney or John Ward or even Walker's love child... provided he got lucky before he was born.

And, yeah, 100.3 did a good job under the circumstances. They need to get Ed a custom set of headphones that will fit over all those hats. I may slip the nighttime janitor at the Oliver Springs WalMart a few bucks to go clean the place so Ed can go home and see if he can remember how pretty his wife is.

We're coming to the end of week two. Any additional comments?

WOKI is trying to get back on track and WNOX is apparently worn out trying to take the 'suck' out of it's problem areas. Nobody's up for getting their buttons pushed this week.

Sending a few bucks to WDVX. Hope anybody with a few bucks will do the same.

The reason they accomplished it so quickly? One word: engineers. These guys are like offensive lineman in that they make the quarterback/receivers/running backs jobs easier, but they never receive the accolades they deserve. When you hear a station that sounds great, rest assured there's an engineer controling the processing, not the GM, PD or MD!

Coming to the end of week four. Still at Defcon 'Meh'.
