On my way to work about 6:20 this morning, in southwest Walworth county, when the sky darkened & the wind pummeled the car. I knew there was already a tornado watch out, from checking the weather before leaving. I tried to locals. WLKG 96.1 was in the midst of "Bob & Sherri in the Morning" out of LA, & WZRK 1550 had Relavant Radio's "Morning Air" from somewhere. tuning around a little more, I caught the EAS chirps from Racine's WEZY 92.1, where I learned I was heading into a sever thrunderstorm with 70mph winds & quarter-sized hail.
Is there ANY station serving Walworth county that provides weather information?
Or, is there a way to get NOAA weather radio in the car?
Could this lack of weather coverage in some way prove fatal?
