I've enjoyed listening to Tripp doing a fill-in stint for Memphis Mark this week on KIX. He has a sense of fun that Mark is lacking on the radio.

What should a PD do when the fill-in guy sounds better than the regular guy?
 
tripp is 7 to midnight now. personally i think memphis mark is the best on their air staff!
 
I think they should move Tripp to another daypart. For the time being there's an opening in the morning on KIX? Who knows. He's an awesome personality. I've worked with quite a bit and he's got a personality that, in my opinion, is missing in the Memphis market(excluding Bad Dog, mind you. He's a staple there). Glad he's got a gig now but good things are gonna happen for him in the future.
 
So now there is another Trip(p)? Guess I should get off the sauce and start checking out this site more often. A cantankerous old guy like me can't keep up with all the blasted technology that keeps coming at me. I thought there was only one real Trip(p)? That was George Flinn's DJ name OVERNIGHTS when he was actually doing ALTERNATIVE ROCK on 56 WHBQ in the early 90's - and what a goob too. LOL
