What shows would YOU like to see in syndication?

Lots of these shows being mentioned are airing FREE over the air on the RTN network. (rtnville.com) It's on the main channel of several full power stations and on the digital subchannels or low power stations in others. And it is 100 percent FREE with your antenna, and a new TV or converter box. Some cable companies don't carry it. So try your antenna. Its a great channel

For me:
Hill Street Blues
The A-Team
WKRP In Cincinatti
The Bob Newhart Show
New York Undercover
and some classic Nickelodeon shows

"Those Oldies but Goodies" :) - i'm looking at this list - three words...

"DR. JOHNNY FEVER!!";D (or in other words, how about WKRP in Cincinnati going into syndicated reruns? I mean, how much "Law and Order" reruns can one person stand??) Besides which, it hasn't been on in syndication in a WHILE...

NBC'S hit sitcom, "EMPTY NEST!" It followed "Golden Girls" on Saturday nights. It ran from 1989-1995 and it's actually NOT being relesed on DVD. ......(Disney!.....'nuff said). Anyway would love this to be back on long enough for me to put them on DVD myself....or so someone can upload more episodes onto youtube.com.

TNT has helped drive L*O into the ground, running only eps. from seasons 8-forward, whilst totally ignoring the classic and arguably the better seasons 1-5, with good eps. 6-8.
The early eps. were nominated for Emmys. Today, few L&O scripts are worthy of any recognition.

Here's one I would like to see come back to syndication: "It's A Living."

As for "Empty Nest," it did run in syndication. WISN/Milwaukee and WREG/Memphis had the reruns on their schedule.

Someone should get together with the Johnny Carson estate and put together an all new "Best of Johnny Carson/Comedy Classics" series. The 1983 syndicated series is being re-run on KDOC in L.A. to very popular response. The first four prime-time anniversary specials are also circulating as well. I think a new series as well as the release of the remaining prime-time specials would be fantastic!

Reelz Channel is also running "Carson's Comedy Classics" on cable at this moment, M-F at 12PM, with encores at 7PM, and 1AM

It seems like all the old tv shows are going the dvd route.I'm still surprize the syndication biz is still going these days, except for the current run shows like ET,Extra.New dvd come out every week.
