What software are they using?

I can't answer you question, but they must be doing well. Their van is a Mercedes Benz.

I suggest you contact them and ask. ???

Then let us know. ;D

Looks like they may be using X-Com WaveCafe spectrum analysis and SpectroX signal analysis (from their wireless product catalog) from that link you posted it looks like the SpectroX software. http://www.bird-electronic.com/Resources/~/media/Bird/Files/PDF/brochures/wireless.ashx . It's an RF signal analysis software and that's what that it looks like they are emulating from that advertisement.

Mercedes vans aren't so rare or prestigious overseas. In fact in the poorest parts of Morocco the grande taxis are all Mercedes.

I remember when WBZ-TV in Boston (IIRC) used Mercedes limos for all their news cars. They said, since they were built for commercial use as taxis and such in Europe, they were perfect for New England winters.

I'll have to look up the software....wish every market had something like that, available for chasing interference. Maybe I'll set one up, right after I win Utah Lotto.

Utah lotto? lol in that case your fingers are gonna be crossed for a long time...

RF signal detection sounds like a lot of fun. Had I stayed in telecom engineering classes maybe I could be doing the same now. Then again there's always a job driving around wireless signal hunting in the "Quiet Zone." I've always wondered what their radio reception was like in that area, if they have excellent reception or not. I was down there a few times in the 90s around Beckley W VA and White Sulphur Springs but I wasn't a dxer then.
