What station do you think Howie was thinking of...

Sundays Herald has Howie Carr writing about Coupe Deval's book deal, and his future after his one term as Governor is up, Howie tosses in this one liner.

"How long until he’s offered a radio talk show on a weak station - at least if he can get himself convicted of a felony he can blame on drug abuse?"

What station do you think he was thinking of when he came up with that line?

I understand Howie's grievances with WRKO, but I really wish he wouldn't do that... Besides, ever heard Deval's voice? No program director in his or her right mind would subject an audience to that tone day in and day out...

Howie must've forgotten that it's been politicians on the other side of the spectrum that Deval is on that have been arrested and charged with (not sure if convicted yet though...) of doing stuff and blaming alcohol and drugs. Yeah, it prolly slipped his mind.

Poor bitter Howie...here, have a Carr Bar.

If that is the case please explain McPhee, Eagan, insert your "they have a voice for newspaper" on air person here.

Eagan's voice isn't that bad, but you're absolutely right on McPhee. I think they're trying to position McPhee as a female Paul Sullivan, but I don't think it's working out terribly well.

it is downright funny for howie to suggest deval will be a one term governor.

what republican is going to beat him?

unless deval pulls an eliot spitzer, he will be reelected...even with his less than impressive approval ratings.
